Service is an important part of the Scouting program. Troop 200 schedules time each year to provide service to the ministries that are important or support our chartered organization, NWUMC. These include outreach activities at Easter, Halloween, and Christmas; clean-up activities in the spring and fall; and supporting drives to collect clothing, food and school supplies. In addition to the Troop scheduled service work, many scouts or patrols find opportunities to provide service within their community as patrol activities or to meet requirement for merit badge or rank advancement.
The Eagle Scout service projects also provide a great avenue for scouts to provide community service under the direction and supervision of a soon to be Eagle Scout.
