SENIOR PATROL LEADER

Job Description

When you accept the position of Senior Patrol Leader, you agree to provide service and leadership in your troop. This responsibility should be fun and rewarding. This job description provides some of the things you are expected to do while serving as a junior leader.

Duties: Must meet 10 out of 12 requirements

  1. Requirements: Life Rank minimum
  2. Must attend Nagatamen, Brownsea, or Eagle Feather
  3. Must attend 4/6 campouts
  4. *REQUIRED* Preside at 80% Troop meetings, events, activities, and annual program planning conference
  5. *REQUIRED* Chair the Patrol Leaders' Council
  6. Must attend Turkey Campout, Advancement Campout, and summer Camp
  7. Attend Troop Committee Meetings
  8. Lead Court of Honors
  9. Assign duties and responsibilities to other junior leaders
  10. Work to improve the troop for its best
  11. Work with the Scoutmaster and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader in training junior leaders
  12. *REQUIRED* Set a good example
