O.A. TROOP REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description

When you accept the position of OA Troop Representative, you agree to provide service and leadership in your troop. This responsibility should be fun and rewarding. This job description provides some of the things you are expected to do while serving as a junior leader.

Duties: Must meet 7 out of 9 requirements

  1. Requirements: OA Brotherhood Member minimum
  2. Serve as a communication link between the Lodge or Chapter and the Troop
  3. Encourage Scouts to actively participate in OA community service projects
  4. Encourage Arrowmen in the Troop to be active participants in the Lodge and/or Chapter activities and to seal their membership in the Order by becoming Brotherhood members (1/3 OA members in Troop)
  5. Must attend 3/4 meeting for Star, 4/6 for Life, and 5/6 for Eagle. If not at attendance for meeting should get the information
  6. Must attend 2 OA campouts a year
  7. List the events offered by the Lodge and/or Chapter
  8. Provide information to Webmaster
  9. *REQUIRED* Set the example
