HISTORIAN
 Job Description
When you accept the position of Historian, you agree to provide service in your troop. This responsibility should be fun and rewarding. This job description provides some of the things you are expected to do while serving as a junior leader.
Duties: Must meet 4 out of 6 requirements
- Gather pictures and facts about past activities (Courts of Honor, ceremonies, camping trips, service projects, etc.) of the Troop and send them to webmaster for posting on troop site
- Work with publication committee member to publish troop events in local papers
- Provide the Scribe with photographs for possible use in the Troop Newsletters
- *REQUIRED* Set a good example
- *REQUIRED* Earn the Photography Merit Badge or have proof that you are working on it
- *REQUIRED* Write a paragraph about the campouts if in attendance (3/4 campouts for Star, 4/6 for Life, and 5/6 for Eagle)
