DEN CHIEF
Job Description
When you accepted the position of Den Chief, you agree to provide service and leadership in your troop and assigned Cub Scout Den. This responsibility should be fun and rewarding. This job description provides some of the things you are expected to do while serving as a junior leader.
Duties: Must meet 9 out of 11 requirements
- Serve as the activities assistant at all den meetings
- Meet regularly with the den leader to review the den and pack meeting plans
- Must attend 50% of den meetings
- Should attend 50% of Den campouts
- If serving as a Webelos Den Chief help Weeblos earn Arrow of Light
- *REQUIRED* Must attend ‘Blue and Golds’
- *REQUIRED* Must attend Turkey campout
- Project a positive image of Boy Scouting
- Promote Cub Scout advancement
- *REQUIRED* Set a good example
- *REQUIRED* Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly
