CHAPLAIN AIDE

Job Description

When you accept the position of Chaplain Aide you agree to provide service in your Troop. This responsibility should be fun and rewarding. This job description provides some of the things you are expected to do while serving as a junior leader.

Duties: Must meet 7 out of 9 requirements

  1. Requirements: Must have Religious Knot not or show proof of work on Religious Knot Award
  2. Keep troop leaders appraised of religious holidays when planning activities
  3. Conducts prayers at Troop Campouts before meals
  4. Assist the religious coordinator as needed
  5. Prepares a list of all Scouts working toward a religious award
  6. Get Religious Award workbooks for scouts interested
  7. Create a chapel service for every campout even if you will not be in attendance
  8. Attend 3/4 campouts for Star, 4/6 for Life, 5/6 for Eagle
  9. *REQUIRED* Set a good example
