ASST. SENIOR PATROL LEADER

Job Description

When you accept the position of Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, you agree to provide service and leadership in your troop.  This responsibility should be fun and rewarding.  This job description provides some of the things you are expected to do while serving as a junior leader.

Duties: Must meet 9 out of 11 requirements

  1. Requirements: Star Rank minimum
  2. Must attend Nagatamen, Brownsea, or Eagle Feather JLTC
  3. Help with leading meetings and activities when called upon by the Senior Patrol Leader
  4. Take over troop leadership in the absence of the Senior Patrol Leader
  5. Must attend Turkey Campout, Advancement Campout, and summer Camp
  6. Perform tasks assigned by the Senior Patrol Leader
  7. Work with SPL to improve troop
  8. Attend 75% of troop meetings
  9. Attend 4/6 campouts for Life and 5/6 for eagle
  10. Function as a member of the Patrol Leaders' Council
  11. *REQUIRED* Set a good example
