Quartermaster Oath

I _______________________________________ as a Scout or Leader of Troop 200 do hereby promise to exercise care in the use of Troop 200 camping equipment.

I will take reasonable care not to damage equipment borrowed from the Troop, promise to take it home to promptly and properly clean and dry it after use, and return it to the Troop.

If I notice damage I shall report it to the Troop quartermaster or scoutmaster and if the damage is cause by my mistreatment of borrowed equipment I will pay the Troop for its repair or replacement.

I understand that care, maintenance, and use instructions for Troop equipment is available on the Troop Web page and I will follow them when using Troop equipment. If I do not have access to the Troop Web page I can request a printed copy of the care, maintenance, and use instructions from the Troop Quartermaster.
