Nights of Camping Coordinator

The Nights of Camping Coordinator receives and manages the nights of camping data, as reported by campout leaders, in order to maintain the Troop’s database of overnight outings, hiking and cycling distances, and Polar Bear camping nights (below freezing) earned by the Troop’s youth and adults.  This data is used primarily to recognize and award Scouts and Scouters with the appropriate neckerchief indicating (by trim color) the night’s of camping earned.  The nights of camping coordinator then presents the individuals their neckerchief during scheduled Court of Honor programs.
